Its purpose is to present the latest best practice news and opinions on issues facing contemporary social work.
You are part of the Editorial Team for the periodical, and you have been asked to write an editorial to increase the visibility and desirability of gerontological social work given global aging.
Styles of editorial do and can vary. Normally, however, an editorial will focus on a specific issue or topic. Structurally, there will be a clear introduction which includes the writer’s view on the topic, and this is followed by evidence to support the topic. An editorial will conclude with a few strong statements to express the overall viewpoints. Editorials are short and precise.
